about me

I have been a trial lawyer since 1985.  My first seven years, I was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, first in Mississippi County, and then in Pulaski and Perry Counties.  While a deputy in the Sixth Judicial District (Pulaski and Perry Counties), I served as prosecutor in Little Rock District Court, Pulaski County District Court, and Perry County District Court.  I was also Division Chief in several Circuit Courts and served as the Legal Chief for the Sixth Judicial District Drug Task Force.  I prosecuted every type of criminal case handled through the office, from the simple speeding ticket to the death penalty prosecution.

Since entering private practice in 1992, I have been providing clients with zealous, honest representation in several key areas of practice.

I have successfully represented scores of people accused of crimes around Arkansas at both the trial and appellate levels in both State and Federal Courts.

I have nearly thirty years experience representing men, women and children in divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, domestic abuse, adoption and probate matters in the Circuit and Juvenile Courts of Arkansas.

In addition to being an experienced trial lawyer, I have often been chosen to sit as Special Judge in Little Rock District Court and several divisions of the Pulaski County Circuit Courts.  As Special Judge, I have presided over many jury trials in both criminal and civil matters.  I have conducted pretrial hearings, made evidentiary rulings, presided over felony and misdemeanor bench trials, and made sentencing decisions in all types of cases.

I believe my unique experience makes me the best lawyer to suit your needs in any type of case you might have.  Please contact me for a no-charge consultation before hiring a lawyer.  The decision you make impacts your life, liberty and pursuit of happiness - you deserve only the best.
